PerformanceS
This year, we are excited to present Raw Groove, a Denver based fusion dance collective. Raw Groove produces events that celebrate the creativity, resilience, and power of art from the Black Diaspora, offering an unforgettable experience where music, dance, history, and togetherness converge. Rooted in the nightlife traditions of the Black Diaspora, Raw Groove invites you to join a journey that honors the lineage of timeless steps and rhythms through a reimagined lens. For Rainbow Dome at Adams County, the performance will feature a curated lineup of live music, DJ sets, mesmerizing performances, line dancing, and a roller skating party—all set to soundtracks ranging from Funk to House to Afrobeats, designed to connect you more deeply with the soul of each music and dance genre that Raw Groove spotlights.

Frequently Asked Questions
Please be mindful that we are a small team and may not be able to respond on the day of the event to last minute inquiries. We appreciate your understanding.
What is the admissions process?
The event is free! You will have to sign our liability waiver. Signing can be done on your phone by scanning the QR code at the door, sign at our iPad kiosk, or by signing a paper copy we have at the admissions table. You’ll receive a wristband, and can enter and exit the event. Minors (under 18 years old) will need a guardian to sign the waiver.
I already signed your Liability Waiver for previous events?
This is a joint liability waiver with Rainbow Dome and Adams County, so we need you to complete a new form.
How does skate rental work?
Skate rental is free! There is a skate rental booth by the rink with kids sizes through men’s size 14, available on a first come, first served basis. The skates are sprayed with disinfectant between each use.
What if skate rental is out of my size?
Skate rental is on a first come, first served basis.
I’m new to skating, is this event for me?
Yes! Rainbow Dome events aim to be inclusive and accessible. We have skate aids, brightly colored “wheeled walkers” with handlebars at different heights for you to use on the skate floor. There also will be at least 1 experienced skater on the skate surface at all times to offer assistance in the rink. In addition to skating, there is also live performances, local vendors, DJs, food, beverages, and seating areas not on the designated skate rink for enjoyment.
Is there a coat or shoe check?
No. We suggest that any important personal items be kept on your person at all times.
What is the skate surface?
Skating is inside the Waymire Dome on linoleum flooring. This is a textured, smooth surface. If you are bringing your own skates, it is recommended that you bring / wear soft (outdoor) wheels to accommodate for the textured floor surface. Skating is at your own risk and we encourage folks to wear their own protective equipment.
How do I reach Rainbow Dome the day of an event?
